Our adornments are meticulously crafted from recyled glass, silver and found objects from the natural world. We are constantly inspired by life here in the desert where we live, and our pieces are a reflection of that. Our work encompasses all stages of nature's ebb and flow: fleeting displays of vitality, relics of death and decaying detritus are carefully preserved in glass reliquaries. We've made it our mission to create beautiful adorments from items that are usually too precious and too fragile to carry with you. These works are talismans as much as traditional jewelry. Our work seamlessly combines natural specimens with beautiful design.
Because of the delicate nature of the found objects we work with, we've developed our own specific techniques to create jewelry that is beautiful and enduring. Every piece begins in the natural world, where we personally gather the organic elements of each piece. In our studio, every step is completed with meticulous care. Glass pieces are cut and soldered with precision, sterling silver is shaped and hammered by hand. The edges of every piece of glass are encased in a silver and tin alloy, which has a much lower melting temperature than sterling, allowing us to preserve the natural elements inside the glass from being discolored by the heat of a jeweler's torch. Our necklace chains, silver accents, cuff bracelets and rings are all crafted with loving care from sterling silver, creating pieces that look delicate, but feel durable.
